Another article about the Mosquito & Triad Register in the Oxford Mail

Last month, the Oxford Mail published an article about the first Mosquito produced by Robert Moss. I've contacted the journalist, John Chipperfield, and given him some informations about our favorites little three wheelers...

John has published a new article today with all the informations he's collected from his first article.

A great find in the "Oxford Mail" newspaper

This picture was completely unknown until today.
Note the square screens as fitted on Q44JJO.
They've been replaced later by a better looking windscreen.

A great article about Robert Moss and the first Mosquito has been published today. I've contacted the Oxford Mail and left a comment. Maybe we'll learn a bit more from Robert Moss and this Mosquito.

What a great find!

Today is an important day for the Mosquito & Triad Register!
I've received an email from Mike. He's the owner of the Green Triad I was looking for. If I'm right, it was the last Triad for which I had no information.
This Triad has never been finished and registered. It's not completely assembled.
Mike got it early in 2012 as a part exchange with a Ford Anglia shell! As he isn't interested in this Triad, it is currently for sale! Be quick and grab a bargain!

The first Triad is not a Triad...

While making the new website, I've realized that the blue Triad registered as Q228FDD is the only Triad with Mini Mk1 rear lights (instead of Mk2 lights for the next cars) and the registration Q228FDD is close from my Mosquito's (Q639FAD). Last thing: it's been first registered in 1987 (Mead & Tomkins period). My conclusion is that Q228FDD is a Mosquito that have been modified to create the Triad and was used as a demo car to promote the Triad and bring the first orders for Malvern Autocraft.

Happy Birthday!

Here we are: the 5th birthday of the Mosquito & Triad Register!
To celebrate this event, the website has been completely changed. The main change is that there's no more French version of the website, it's only in English now. Regarding cars, I've learnt a little bit more about them and you'll know about it in the next few days.

There are still 1 or 2 cars missing and a lot to learn about the others but I don't lose hope to find them out!

You can register as a follower on this blog. it will take you just a few seconds and you won't miss anymore news from the Mosquito & Triad Register.

Please feel free to forward this link to the Mini / Mini-based cars enthusiasts you know.
